Meet the Founder
Chandrika "C. Mack" Mackall
Founder & Executive Director · Professional Makeup Artist · Beauty Educator · Entrepreneur
With over 30 years of experience in the beauty industry, Chandrika Mackall has dedicated her career to helping women see themselves differently. As the founder of C. Mack Beauty and More Than Makeup Beauty Academy, she has built a respected reputation as a professional makeup artist and educator rooted in empowerment.
Chandrika lives with medical hairloss and understands firsthand how changes in appearance can impact confidence, identity and emotional well-being. Before becoming a full-time beauty entrepreneur, Chandrika spent years in federal financial management, bringing strategic leadership and operational structure to her nonprofit work. Beauty Through and Beyond the Battle is a personal journey to help others feel seen, supported, and beautiful through every stage of their experience.

Our Approach
Beauty Through and Beyond the Battle partners directly with hospitals, cancer centers, and aligned nonprofit organizations to deliver programming where patients already receive care. This embedded model removes barriers and ensures our workshops reach the women who need them most.
Every workshop is led by volunteers who are licensed and experienced beauty professionals with specialized training in treatment-related beauty concerns. Our curriculum is developed with healthcare-informed guidance to ensure techniques and products are safe and appropriate at every stage of treatment.
